WHAT IS COACHING?

Put simply, coaching is about getting clear on what you want to do, making a plan and doing it. Goal-focused, it's about bridging the gap from where you are now to where you want to be through focused, practical steps. 


WHAT IS NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a collection of tools and techniques to better understand how the mind works (the subconscious) & our behaviours to bring about powerful change in you and others. 
It is used in personal development and for success in business.


HOW DOES COACHING DIFFER FROM COUNSELLING OR THERAPY?

Whereas counselling and therapy predominantly focus on negative past issues and influences, coaching is more forward-looking, focusing on future goals and positive, practical steps to take here and now. Coaching is more about evolving and improving rather than healing or understanding and is typically for a defined, shorter term (whereas therapy is more ongoing and open-ended). 


WHAT ARE YOUR CREDENTIALS?

I am an ICF accredited Personal Performance Coach and certified NLP Practitioner. I gained my Personal Coaching qualification through The Coaching Academy – the original training body for Life Coaches in the UK.

My NLP certification is internationally recognised by the American Board of NLP and the ANLP in the UK.

WHERE WILL THE SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
I run sessions face to face in West London or via Zoom, whichever works best for you.


HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED AND HOW LONG ARE THEY?

Should you decide to choose me as your coach, you would sign up for a package of 4, 6 or 9 sessions. 
Each session is 1.5 hours and typically runs on a fortnightly basis but timings can be tailored to your needs.


WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

My rates are always competitive and vary based on the number of sessions that are booked in advance.

The coaching relationship is completely confidential. The content of our discussions will not be shared with anyone.


HOW QUICKLY WILL I MAKE PROGRESS?

All my clients have felt energised for the future after their first session and start to see progress
within the first couple of sessions. 

However, it is important to stress that progress is dependent on you and what we are working on. Coaching is not about waving a magic wand. It relies on complete commitment from both you and me. It takes time to make long term changes. We will need to work hard but it will be fun and a truly positive, energising experience!

HOW CAN YOU HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS FOR MY LIFE?

As your personal coach, I am not here to tell you what to do. You're the expert on you, whereas I'm the expert on the coaching process. All the answers lie within you. I’m here to help you access them, without the use of advice. You will be more committed and motivated to taking action on a plan made by you, than one offered by someone else.


WHAT CAN A COACH OFFER THAT A FRIEND COULDN'T?

Friends are the best. Literally. They know us inside out and offer us advice whenever we need it. Whilst this can be helpful and supportive, sometimes it can make things more confusing. Their advice, while offered with the best intentions, can often make us feel more alone or confused. The reason being that everyone has their own worldview. No matter how well your friend knows you, they will still be offering their advice from a slightly different perspective to you. We can’t help but be subjective when it comes to friends. As your Coach, I will be completely objective, supporting you towards the answers yourself through honest, intuitive questioning.
